Door dash review; My dasher provided a good service. Ok, sooo, my first thought was I should've got more ribs, I'm real, sorry, I thought the value wasn't there.... But then, I ate them, lol, and then I thought again, I should've got more ribs, but the value was there. So I felt good about the purchase. Do I recommend Baldy's? Yes. Would I order their food again? Yes. Btw, I love their spicy bbq sauce, seriously. Yum Fall off the bone ribs
We were in town for one night craving some good barbecue and we found it at Baldys Pulled chicken sandwich and coleslaw were amazing fries absolutely the best My husband loved his brisket. Baked beans were not excellent, but they were still pretty good. When you add a little barbecue sauce to it. We will return if we're in town again
Absolutely amazing bbq place. Recommended by a shuttle driver for the river floats. The short ribs are a must. Highly recommend.
Visiting Bend, Baldy's is a small place with even fewer parking spots available. Brisket sandwich was packed with great tasting wet brisket, with a side of potatoes Au gratin. The entire meal tasted great, did not eat the bread, didn't want a full platter of brisket, so it was just the right size. Others had the Mac and cheese with brisket and the Baldy Burger, which also tasted very good. The service was awesome even though we came in an hour before closing time and a large party of 8+ ordering ahead of us, the food still came out pretty quick. Prices are in line for bbq and we would visit again if we are ever in the area. Not a fan of the original bbq sauce, more on the vinegary side, which I do not prefer, but am sure others do. Still a place we'd recommend.
Ordered take-out to host dinner for friends at our condo while visiting Sunriver. off. the. hook. goodness. We ordered the ComboPack #1 which was plenty for 7 people and then some. Super delicious and fairly priced, I feel. This was our second time having Baldy's as we had dinner at this spot years ago. I was happily reminded of this as I pulled into the parking lot. It was great years ago and just as good this time (prob "better" 'cus we had more of it to gorge ourselves!) Thank you Baldy's - we'll be back!! :)
Last night I showed up half an hour before closing. I was a little concerned that they would be closing up shop. However, not only did I get spectacular service, but the food was amazing. I ordered the ribs and brisket combo with beans and jalapeño cornbread. Everything was extremely flavorful and the meats had the perfect level of smoke. The ribs were tender and came right off the bone. I was asked if I wanted the brisket lean or fatty or a combination. I got the combination and it did not disappoint! The restaurant was clean, simple and well appointed. Music and decorations were homey but not kitschy. Just right. I would recommend this simple, no-nonsense, great service and spectacular food restaurant to everyone.
Stopped in for lunch. It's a very casual atmosphere. We ordered mixed greens salad, sweet potato fries, mac & cheese, and a brisket and ribs platter with honey jalapeño cornbread and coleslaw. Most of the food was good (I don't recommend the mac & cheese), generous portions, and fresh. The service was good as well.
I can't believe this place only has 3.5 stars, we are from SoCal and pay 30+ bucks for baby back ribs. Baldy's baby back's are so fringen delicious, coleslaw and their beans are outstanding. I feel like the competition comes in here and gives them bad reviews, I hate to see this please blow up but well deserved and then I would have to wait an hour or two for my ribs. Tell em Don sent you, maybe a dollar off your beer( maybe)
